Overview
ASC OS-115LN-PG is a uniaxial, analog capacitive accelerometer designed for demanding measurements including smallest frequencies and amplitudes. It provides a differential analog voltage output (±4 V FSO) and is available in multiple measurement ranges from ±2 g to ±400 g.

Technology
Sensors of type ASC OS-115LN-PG are based on proven MEMS technology with a capacitive operating principle. The integrated electronics provide a differential analog voltage output (±4 V FSO) and a flexible power supply voltage from 6 to 40 VDC. The LN (Low Noise) variants deliver an outstanding signal-to-noise ratio which is essential for measurements of very low frequencies and amplitudes. Typical noise density and frequency capability: noise density 7 to 400 µg/√Hz; frequency range (±5 %): DC to 2000 Hz.

Housing
The accelerometers feature a robust stainless steel housing with protection class IP68. The housing is hermetically sealed and includes an integrated cable with configurable length and available connector options.

Applications
Due to the hermetically sealed stainless steel housing and high robustness, the OS series sensors are suitable for very harsh environmental conditions, e.g. testing of bogie stability according to EN 13749 in rail transport, condition monitoring of vehicles and components in construction, and other industrial monitoring tasks.
