OverviewThe KS96B.10 is a compact uniaxial piezoelectric IEPE accelerometer designed for demanding test and measurement applications. It delivers an analog voltage output and is optimized for structural and modal analysis in automotive, railway, lightweight aviation and other light-construction testing.
TechnologyPiezoelectric sensor using PZT ceramic with integrated IEPE electronics that convert charge to an analog output voltage. The device includes integrated TEDS (DS2431) and operates on a constant current supply. Output scale factor and dynamic characteristics are suited for wideband vibration measurement.
Housing and MechanicalThe sensor is extremely lightweight (2.4 g without cable) and features an aluminum/stainless-steel housing. It uses a top connector and a detachable cable available in configurable lengths and connector types.
