OverviewThe ASC RAIL-1152LN is a uniaxial accelerometer based on MEMS capacitive technology. It provides a differential analog voltage output (±4 V FSO) with integrated electronics and accepts a wide supply voltage range from 6 to 40 VDC. The sensor is designed for demanding rail environments and is qualified and documented according to EN 50155.
Sensor details- Sensor technology: MEMS capacitive
- Number of sensitive directions: Uniaxial
- Output signal: Differential analog voltage (±4 V FSO)
- Supply voltage: 6 to 40 VDC
- Measurement ranges [g]: 2, 5, 10, 25, 50, 100, 200, 400
Housing and mechanicsThe device is housed in non‑flammable stainless steel (V2A, material no. 1.4301) with protection class IP68. It is available with an integrated cable (configurable length) and selectable connectors to suit installation requirements in rolling stock and other harsh applications.
Railway suitability and documentationThe ASC RAIL-1152LN is tested and documented to EN 50155, simplifying integration and reducing operator documentation efforts. The RAIL series is qualified for the environmental and mechanical stresses typical in rail transport.
