OverviewThe ASC CS-1711LN is a uniaxial capacitive MEMS accelerometer providing a single-ended analog current output (4-20 mA). It is engineered for continuous condition and structural health monitoring in installations that require long cable runs and high electromagnetic compatibility.
Sensor details- Sensor type: Analog accelerometer
- Sensor technology: Capacitive MEMS
- Number of sensitive directions: Uniaxial
- Output signal: Current, 4-20 mA
- Measurement ranges [g]: ±2, ±5, ±10, ±50
TechnologyThe ASC CS series uses a capacitive MEMS sensing element with integrated electronics to deliver a stable 4-20 mA single-ended current output. The device accepts a wide supply range (8–30 VDC), offers excellent EMC immunity and is optimized for loss-free transmission over very long cables. Broadband noise is < 0.2 µA, ensuring reliable measurements in industrial environments.
HousingThe accelerometer is mounted in a lightweight aluminum enclosure with protection class IP67. It comes with an integrated cable (customizable length) and several connector options to suit field installations and long-distance wiring requirements.
ApplicationsDesigned for continuous condition monitoring and structural health monitoring (SHM), e.g., rail infrastructure monitoring, bridge structural analysis and other industrial installations where long cable runs and high EMC immunity are required.
