Product overview- Sensor type: Analog accelerometer
- Sensor technology: MEMS capacitive
- Number of sensitive directions: Triaxial
- Output signal: Differential analog voltage (±4 V FSO)
- Measurement ranges [g]: ±2, ±5, ±10, ±25, ±50, ±100, ±200, ±400
TechnologyThe ASC OS-315LN-PG is based on MEMS capacitive sensing with integrated signal conditioning. The sensor provides a differential analog output (±4 V FSO) and accepts a wide supply range (6 to 40 V DC). The LN (Low Noise) variant is optimized for low noise measurements, with noise density approximately 7 to 400 µg/√Hz depending on the selected range. Frequency response (±5%): DC to 2000 Hz, suitable for vibration and structural monitoring tasks.
HousingThe sensor is housed in a hermetically sealed stainless steel enclosure (IP68), designed for harsh environments. An integrated cable is supplied; cable length and connector type can be configured to match installation requirements. The hermetic construction ensures resistance to moisture and contaminants.
ApplicationsTypical applications include rail vehicle bogie stability testing (EN 13749), condition monitoring of vehicles and heavy equipment, structural and industrial vibration monitoring where durable, low-noise triaxial acceleration measurement is required.
