OverviewThe KS97B.10 is a compact uniaxial IEPE accelerometer designed for demanding test and measurement applications. It provides an analog voltage output and is suitable for structural and modal analysis in automotive, railway testing and lightweight constructions such as light aircraft components.
Key features- Sensor technology: Piezoelectric (PZT)
- Number of sensitive directions: Uniaxial
- Output signal: Analog voltage (IEPE)
- Measurement range: ±500 g
TechnologyPiezoelectric accelerometers use a PZT ceramic sensing element and integrated IEPE electronics to convert charge into an analog voltage output. The KS97B.10 operates from a constant current supply and includes integrated TEDS (DS2431).
Housing and mechanicalThe sensor features an aluminum/stainless steel housing, weighs approx. 2.4 g (without cable) and is supplied with a detachable cable available in configurable lengths and connector options. The KS97B.10 is fitted with a side connector.
ApplicationsTypical applications include structural and modal analysis, test and measurement tasks for automotive and railway testing, and vibration measurements on lightweight constructions such as light aircraft components.
