Overview
JA-5 Type III are servo-balanced quartz accelerometers manufactured by Japan Aviation Electronics (JAE) and distributed by ASC GmbH. The integrated electronic circuitry provides an analog current output. They are designed for inertial-navigation grade performance with very high resolution and long-term stability.

Technology
JA-5 Type III combines Q‑MEMS / MEMS quartz sensor technology with servo balancing and integrated electronics to deliver an analog current output. The accelerometers feature a resolution of < 1 µg and outstanding long-term stability of scale factor and bias.
