CENO separate pancake slip ring is also called platter slip ring because of its outline. Extremely thin is the feature of this series slip ring. A pancake or platter style slip ring can be used in a certain applications where a cylindrical shape slip ring will simply not fit into the available space or a very low profile is needed.
