Product overviewAutomatic centrifuge for metal chips suitable for separating and recovering cooling lubricant. Medium-size unit designed for integration in a treatment line. Discharge of treated chips is located at the bottom of the centrifuge body.
Key features- Structure in painted metalwork RAL 7016, anchored to a thick rigid platform
- Basket machined from a block of special steel on CNC and heat treated
- Wear-resistant materials for parts in contact with chips
- Anti-vibration dampers to reduce vibrations
- Compact dimensions
- High separation efficiency
- Easily replaceable slotted filter ring with differentiated holes
Function and operating notesThe FC300 is suitable for centrifuging ferrous and non-ferrous metal swarf to recover the cooling lubricant used by machine tools. It is designed for continuous feed and for short swarf not exceeding 2 cm in length. Under optimal conditions the FC300 can achieve swarf with a wet content up to 1.5%. Actual efficiency and hourly throughput depend on swarf characteristics (material, shape, bulk density, initial humidity) and should be confirmed by testing customer swarf. If the swarf contains pieces (bar headers, semifinished parts, bar ends), fit the centrifuge with a sieve.
Hourly production (reference Q = 400 l/h)Columns: Brass | Steel | Aluminium | Stainless steel | Copper | Cast iron

Further technical characteristics- To optimize de-oiling, equip the machine with an inverter
- Cycle can be controlled by a LOGO or a PLC
- Fit a washing pump on the coolant recovery tank to prevent sludge accumulation and clogging of the discharge channel
- Swarf must be short (not larger than approx. 2 x 1 or 2 cm)
- Swarf must not contain large parts (bar ends, headers, processed parts); pieces of ~1 cm are tolerated
- Load the centrifuge continuously and uniformly for maximum performance
