Product overview
The COMPACT unit combines a TTC-range shredder and an FC-range centrifuge to treat long, coiled and coolant-contaminated metal swarf discharged from small and medium bins into the shredder hopper. The shredder reduces swarf size and a vane conveyor feeds the centrifuge, which recovers coolant into a collection tank. The shredder is equipped with an automatic ejection system to handle swarf containing pieces. The unit is mounted on a palletised base for easy handling and is delivered wired and complete with an electrical control panel. COMPACT groups are offered in four different combinations.

Operation and components
The shredder grinds long, tangled swarf contaminated with coolant. The ground swarf is conveyed by a vane conveyor into the centrifuge for separation of chips and coolant. Recovered coolant is collected in an integrated tank. The automatic ejection system allows processing even when pieces are present in the swarf stream.

PLC
The COMPACT treatment groups include an integrated PLC for continuous monitoring and control of treatment cycle parameters.
