Overview
The TRA400 is a compact horizontal shredder designed to process long and coiled metal swarf containing solids. It is suitable for installation under a machine tool conveyor and incorporates an automatic parts ejection system that removes non-shreddable pieces without damaging the cutting knives.

Working principle
The shredder has two slow‑rotating shafts driven by appropriately rated motors. Hooked replaceable blades mounted on the shafts engage with a counter‑comb blade to produce the cutting effect. Interchangeable screens located below the shafts determine shredded particle size and the unit's hourly throughput. Reduction efficiency and throughput depend on swarf density, shape, oil content and coolant type; performance should be validated with trials on the customer's material.
