Overview
The TRA1000 is a horizontal shredder designed to process long, coiled, highly tenacious metal swarf that may contain parts. It is suitable for installation under a machine-tool evacuator or integration into a swarf treatment line.

Operation
The TRA1000 reduces swarf volume using two slow-rotating shafts driven by geared motors. Replaceable hooked knives mounted on the shafts cut against a counter-comb knife to create the shearing action. An interchangeable screen located under the shafts defines the size of the shredded chip and the hourly output. The unit recognises metal parts up to Ø = 50 mm and length L = 80 mm and ejects them automatically.
