Overview
The FAMA horizontal silos are designed for indoor storage of metal swarf to protect valuable materials and optimise factory space. The tank has a trapezoidal section and is emptied by a screw conveyor positioned at the bottom of the tank.

Detailed description
FAMA silos are storage tanks for accumulation and temporary storage of metal swarf (brass, copper, steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminium). They are sized to contain an adequate quantity of material to optimise handling and disposal operations. Designed for indoor installation to reduce theft risk and free up external space, the area beneath the silo can be used as additional storage or to host other machines (washers, piece counters, etc.). The trapezoidal tank section ensures material flow towards the bottom screw conveyor for controlled discharge.
