Overview
Vertical crusher for long, tangled and skein-type metal swarf. Designed for use in small processing groups and centralized recycling systems. Fitted with an automatic ejector for non-shreddable parts. The crushing unit is driven by a hydraulic motor supplied by a control unit.

Operation
The swarf loaded into the hopper is pre-shredded by a hooked arm which feeds the material to the grinding point. The skein is then shredded and discharged from the bottom. Non-shreddable pieces that interfere with the process are automatically ejected into a side container operated by two air cylinders. The unit is powered via a hydraulic motor driven by the control unit.

Further description
The hooked arm performs pre-shredding and conveys swarf into the grinding area where the rotor and counter-knives reduce material size. Shredded material is discharged from the base. If a non-shreddable piece obstructs the process, the machine ejects it automatically into a lateral container via pneumatic actuation. The hydraulic motor and control unit coordinate feeding, crushing and ejection cycles.
