OverviewRange of omnidirectional high-deflection shock mounts with a square base plate and a threaded core on the upper side. The elastomer is natural rubber developed specifically for naval applications (other materials available on request). Metal components are corrosion protected for maritime environments.
Advantages- Provides a high level of vibration isolation and shock protection for shipboard and marine equipment.
- High structural strength: corresponds to a continuous acceleration of 10 g under maximum load.
- Range includes 17 different mounts covering a wide load range from 15 kg up to 1670 kg per mount.
- Meets the latest US and European naval shock standards used by maritime forces worldwide.
- Metalwork protected against corrosion (salt spray resistant) for sea environment durability.
Assembly / UseDesigned to be loaded in compression and must be installed on a flat surface covering the entire base plate. The supported structure is secured to the central core using a high-tensile screw M20. For optimal performance, distribute the load evenly across mounts. For tall suspended equipment, use these mounts as stabilizing devices and secure to the equipment only after base mounts are stabilized. Not designed for permanent shear or tension loads. All connections to suspended equipment must be flexible and accommodate large displacements to allow the suspension to operate correctly.
