DescriptionCustom active vibration isolation solution providing both low- and high-frequency treatment. Since 1988 PAULSTRA has developed active isolation systems that extend the PAULSTRA/VIBRACHOC range with high efficiency at low frequencies. Active control combines vibration expertise with electronic regulation. The active pad shown is added beneath a conventional mount to improve noise and vibration reduction for machinery, electronic equipment and marine installations.
Advantages- Improves dynamic isolation compared with passive suspensions of the same stiffness
- Enhances decoupling between structures
- Simplifies equipment installation by reducing or eliminating inertia blocks
- Reduces structural stress and extends service life
- Decreases noise emissions
- Limits movement of connections and piping to equipment
- Excellent vibration attenuation: 12 to 36 dB additional filtering versus passive solution alone
- Total suppression of the most problematic harmonics
- Performance upgrade of existing machines with minimal impact (add-on kit)
- Saves space and weight
- Improves working environment regarding noise and vibrations
- Reduces submarine/underwater radiated noise
Specifications - Marine support functions- Maintains the suspended mass in absence of shocks while providing vibrational and/or acoustic isolation capacity
- In case of shocks: limits force and/or displacement to acceptable values
- After shocks: returns the suspended mass to its initial position
