Description
The ABS 540 S NC is a fully automated horizontal production band saw with a dual-column design for high-volume cutting of solids, tubes and profiles. Material feed is driven by a servo motor with preloaded ball-screw and measurement system, delivering positioning and repeat accuracy of ±0.2 mm. The Omron touchscreen controller stores up to 30 programs with 50 steps each. Optional hydraulic bundle clamping and other tooling options increase application flexibility. Workpiece clamping is hydraulic; mitre angle is set manually and readable on a digital display.
