Description

Overview
  • FD-30F Series pilot freeze dryer for vial and bulk product processing; models: FD-30F-R (normal) and FD-30F-TP (with vial stoppering).
  • Designed for pharmaceuticals, vaccines, probiotics, polypeptides, biological samples and similar materials; in‑chamber pre-freezing avoids manual transfer and contamination.
  • GMP-configurable design with CE and ISO options; wall-pass (wall-cross) layout and air-cooled refrigeration available.


Refrigeration system
  • Dual-stage refrigeration with hermetic compressors for stable low-temperature performance and reduced noise.
  • Pressure control components from established manufacturers (e.g., Danfoss) and brazed-plate heat exchanger in the loop.
  • Condenser/cold-trap designed to reach very low temperatures (typical specification ≤ -75 °C; silicone-oil configurations reference down to ~ -86 °C).
  • Shelf temperature control range typically -50 °C to +70 °C (±1 °C at balance); air-cooled versions operate without additional room cooling equipment.


Dry chamber
  • Rectangular dry chamber enabling pre-freezing and drying in the same enclosure to reduce handling.
  • Chamber and shelves in polished SS304 (SS316 optional for product-contact parts); high-transmittance observation door and rounded inner corners for cleaning.
  • Inner wall roughness ≤ 0.6 μm; shelf flatness ≤ ±0.5 mm/m to promote uniform drying.
  • Silicone-oil circulation heating for high temperature precision (electric heating optional); each shelf inspected for roughness and flatness.


Condenser (cold trap)
  • Large-capacity stainless-steel condenser (SS304 standard, SS316 optional) with fast ice capture capability.
  • Independent cylinder-type cold trap available on selected models for easier ice removal and higher capture efficiency.
  • Patented gas diversion and electric defrost around condenser to improve trapping uniformity and simplify defrosting.


Circulation system
  • Shielded circulating pump (reputable brands) and PID-controlled electric heating for silicone-oil circulation; low-viscosity, low-temperature silicone oil recommended.
  • Circulation configuration fitted on FD-20F/30F/50F/100F/200F series as applicable.


FD-LYO control system
  • Manual, semi-auto and automatic control modes for pilot and small-batch production with PLC and graphic touch display.
  • Program storage (up to 32 programs, 36 segments each), real-time curve modification and USB data export; optional PC/APP remote monitoring available.

Vacuum system
  • Standard two-stage rotary vane vacuum pump with adjustable vacuum control; optional high-performance pumps (Leybold/ULVAC/Edwards) for lower ultimate vacuum.
  • Typical ultimate vacuum ≤ 5 Pa and example pumping speed ~6 L/s (model and pump dependent); system designed for low leakage.


Safety protection
  • Integrated protection logic across electrical, refrigeration, vacuum and heating systems with interlocks and alarm indications.
  • Protections include vacuum-loss alarms, refrigeration and heating fault alarms, power-on/off safeguards and process interlocks to prevent material damage.
