Plastic film stretching line LMDO series

Description Vertical Machine Direction Orientation (MDO) stretching units available in four sizes for roll widths from 350 to 800 mm. Units are offered with one or two stretching gaps (single or dual stretching stations). They can be integrated in-line with blown or cast film lines (single- or multi-layer) or used as free-standing machines fed by pre-produced film rolls. The vertical, stand-up configuration reduces floor space requirements. Water- or oil-heated roll systems are available for temperatures up to 220 °C. A chain-driven film threading system ensures fast and reliable web threading. Depending on film composition, stretching ratios up to 10× can be achieved.
