OverviewThis downward-blown water-quenching film blowing line provides very high film clarity by rapidly cooling the melt as it exits the die. It is suitable for producing PP films with high transparency and gloss and can be used for other difficult-to-blow resins. The line is available in single- or multi-layer configurations and includes a system to completely remove water from the film prior to winding.
Applications- Production of PP films requiring high transparency and surface gloss
- Processing of resins that are difficult to blow using conventional air-cooled, upward-blown methods
- Single- and multi-layer film production for packaging, lamination and specialty film uses
- Laboratory, R&D and pilot production for process development
