Description
The new 26 mm COMBI twin-screw extruder features selectable co- and counter-rotating operation with a gear selector for quick changeover. The machine uses a modular clam-shell barrel design with barrel sections of 4 D (104 mm) each. Standard drive power is 15 kW with maximum screw speeds up to 800 RPM (co-rotating) and 400 RPM (counter-rotating). The unit is equipped with a redesigned high-torque gearbox including additional shaft-supporting gears and a direct-driven gear pump for closed-loop forced oil lubrication and cooling.
