Product overviewThe 16 mm twin-screw extruder is a compact extruder designed for processing thermoplastics in laboratory, R&D and pilot-scale production. It includes modified gravimetric feeders for low feed rates matching the extruder output. Barrel thermal management can be configured with water cooling or electric cartridge heating across all zones. Side feeders enable masterbatch or additive introduction. Control can be via manual panels or a fully computerized touchscreen with data download and PC processing capability.
Features- Gravimetric feeders modified for low feed rates to match small extruder outputs
- Electric cartridge heating for all barrel zones for precise thermal control
- Optional water cooling for barrel temperature management
- Side feeders supported for masterbatch and additive dosing
- Control options: manual panels or fully computerized touchscreen controller with data export and PC processing
