Product overview
Grade 43 binder chain with electro-galvanized finish supplied on half-drum. Electronically welded links; finish is electro-galvanized (self color). Meets or exceeds NACM and ASTM standards (A391 & A413). High strength-to-weight ratio. NOT for overhead lifting. NEVER exceed published working load limit. Proof tested and certified.

Introduction
Grade 43 chain is a high-test steel binder chain with greater tensile strength than Proof Coil (Grade 30). Typical applications include towing, binder/tie-down and logging where a higher working load limit is required. Grade 43 binder chains are supplied with a clevis grab hook on each end. Not approved for overhead lifting or personnel suspension.

• Grade of chain: NACM & ASTM grades (A391 & A413). Higher grade provides higher working load limit for same diameter.
• Working Load Limit (WLL): Rated capacity; maximum working load applied in direct tension to an undamaged straight length of chain.
• Proof Test: Manufacturing integrity test force; minimum tensile force applied under controlled increase during production. For verification only, not a service/design value.
• Minimum Breaking Force: Minimum force recorded at break during tensile testing. Not a guaranteed service/design value.
• Overhead Lifting: Lifting that suspends a freely suspended load where dropping could cause injury or damage; Grade 43 is NOT for overhead lifting.
