Product Overview
Electronically welded Grade 30 proof coil chain manufactured from low carbon steel. Electro-galvanized finish with optional hot-dip galvanizing for enhanced corrosion protection. Conforms to or exceeds NACM and ASTM standards. Not intended for overhead lifting; always observe the published Working Load Limit (WLL).

Introduction
Grade 30 proof coil chain is a general-purpose utility chain suitable for farm use, log dragging, towing and switching applications. Its long-link geometry offers flexibility and ease of handling while providing consistent performance for non-lift duties.

• Do not exceed the published Working Load Limit (WLL).

Parameters

• Grade of Chain: Classified per NACM (National Association of Chain Manufacturers) and ASTM; higher grades correspond to higher WLL for the same chain size.
• Working Load Limit (WLL): The maximum working load to be applied in direct tension to an undamaged, straight length of chain.
• Proof Test: The minimum tensile force applied during manufacture under increasing direct tension to verify integrity; this is a production test and not a design criterion.
• Minimum Breaking Force: The minimum tensile force at which chain samples broke during manufacture testing; breaking force values are manufacturing acceptance tests and not guarantees for service design.
• Overhead Lifting: Any lifting operation that could place a suspended load over personnel or property; this chain is not certified for such use.
