Product Overview
Grade 80 lifting chain is manufactured from high‑quality alloy steel and is intended for overhead lifting applications. The standard finish is a black armour coat; other finishes are available including electro galvanized, powder coated, hot‑dipped galvanized and Silver Shield.

Parameters

• Grade of Chain: NACM (National Association of Chain Manufacturers) & ASTM classify chains by grade. Higher grade indicates higher working load limit for the same chain size.
• Working Load Limit (WLL): The maximum working load that should be applied in direct tension to an undamaged straight length of chain.
• Proof Test: The minimum tensile force applied during manufacturing as a quality test. Proof test values are manufacturing integrity checks and not design criteria for service.
• Minimum Breaking Force: The minimum tensile force at which the chain sample broke during testing. Breaking force is an acceptance test result and shall not be used as a service design value.
• Overhead Lifting: Lifting that elevates a freely suspended load to a position where dropping the load could cause injury or property damage.
