The E38 Series desktop trackball module incorporates Cursor Controls Ltd IP65 technology to provide a waterproof, solid-state human interface suitable for demanding environments. The module combines patented infra-red optical trackball navigation with an IP65-rated hall-effect scroll wheel and integrated left, middle and right switch functionality. Standard configuration includes a black fine-textured housing, aluminium base plate, wired USB cable (auto-select USB/PS-2) and a grey scroll wheel. The design allows washdown, decontamination and sterilisation while remaining a freestanding desktop device that optimises desk space compared with a mouse.
