Utilizing the latest infra-red optical tracking technology, the X50 Series top-mount optical trackball is a high-spec, contact-less cursor control device designed for demanding industrial and embedded applications. The unit mounts from the top side of a keyboard or panel without fixings, reducing integration costs and installation time. The optical tracking engine delivers precise cursor movement across speeds, combining solid-state sensing with the proven performance of the Cursor Controls range. The removable top ring allows easy cleaning, decontamination and sterilisation to maintain performance in harsh environments. The X50 Series is offered with multiple electrical outputs and tracking force options.
