Description
The X38 HALO Series optical Trackball™ uses advanced infrared solid-state optical tracking to deliver precise, contact-less cursor control ideal for low-light and demanding industrial environments. The illuminated HALO ring around the ball aids location in low light without the intrusion of a fully backlit ball. The optical tracking engine provides consistent cursor response across speeds and ball variants while minimising moving parts for improved reliability. The removable top ring allows for straightforward cleaning, decontamination and sterilisation to maintain performance in harsh or regulated settings. The X38 HALO range is offered with multiple electrical outputs, tracking force options and sealing up to IP68 and is intended for back-of-panel mounting in OEM keyboards and consoles.
