TechnologyDifferential pressure decay uses a reference volume to test the part and compensates for ambient pressure or temperature variations because both volumes are affected simultaneously. Only a leak on the test part produces movement of the transducer membrane. Accuracy does not drop with test pressure as the transducer measures pressure differences between two circuits rather than pressure drop against atmosphere.
Desensitized testThis mode is used for measurement of large leaks when the required reject level is above the full scale of the differential sensor; test pressure is applied to the input of the part under test and measurement is performed by the pressure sensor.
