OverviewThe Excelitas TPiS 1S 1051 and TPiS 1S 1252 DigiPile™ series are compact SMD digital thermopile sensors combining a thermopile sensing chip with an internal ADC to deliver amplified 17-bit digital output and an internal temperature reference.
Product detailsBoth models use Excelitas's ISOthermal design to optimize signal stability and minimize thermal drift. The digital bit stream contains the thermopile measurement followed by the internal reference diode reading for accurate temperature compensation. The TPiS 1S 1051 pairs the smallest thermopile chip with the smallest available SMD housing, while the TPiS 1S 1252 provides higher sensitivity in a slightly larger integrated package. Digital conversion reduces susceptibility to electrical interference and simplifies integration into embedded systems.
