Product descriptionThe Excelitas PYQ 2498 pyrodetector provides two pairs of pyroelectric elements arranged in a geometric square. Two elements per pair are electrically connected in series; each pair drives an integrated FET in source-follower configuration to produce one analog output, yielding two independent analog signals. The device is supplied in a TO-5 metal housing with a rectangular optical window.
Detailed informationThis quad pyrodetector integrates four high-responsivity ceramic pyroelectric elements grouped into two closely spaced pairs. Each pair is connected to a dedicated FET configured as a source follower to deliver a stable analog output. An internal RC filter stage improves EMI immunity. The compact geometry and the TO-5 rectangular window make the device suitable for lens-based motion sensing and wall-mounted detector modules.
