OverviewThis Quad-Element pyrodetector integrates four pyroelectric elements in series within a TO-5 metal housing. It belongs to the DigiPyro family and includes on-board circuitry that converts element signals into a 14-bit digital output. The PYQ 1748 is intended for mid-range ceiling sensing and features a built-in temperature diode, providing combined 2×14-bit data (pyro + temperature) transmitted via a single-wire direct link to a host microprocessor.
