OverviewExcelitas' PYQ 1348 and PYQ 1398 pyroelectric detectors integrate four sensing elements arranged in a geometric square and electrically connected in series to form a single analog output via an integrated FET in source-follower configuration. Two window options (rectangular or square) and different element spacings are available. With appropriate lens or mirror optics these detectors are intended for ceiling-mounted motion-detection devices. The PYQ 1348 is also offered with smaller 0.8 × 0.8 mm² elements for compact lenses and short detection distances.
