Product Overview
The Excelitas TPiD 1T 0122B and TPiD 1T 0222B thermopile detectors feature an ISOthermal housing design paired with a sensitive chip and a small optical window. Optimized for thermometry—particularly ear (tympanic) thermometry—these devices deliver improved thermopile performance under thermal shock conditions. The range includes the cost-effective TPiD 1T 0122B and higher-signal variants with larger or higher-sensitivity elements. Physical dimensions match TO-46 sensor housings and include a dedicated aperture. All types include an internal thermistor for thermopile temperature compensation to improve measurement accuracy.

Applications
Best suited for ear (tympanic) thermometry and general thermometry applications where fast response and robustness to thermal shock are required.
