Thermopile infrared sensor TPiD 1S 0121

Product Overview
TPiD 1S 0121 and TPiD 1S 0222 are SMD thermopile detectors featuring two detector-chip sizes in surface-mount housings. The 0121 offers a compact 3 x 3 mm flat package for space-constrained host devices, while the 0222 provides a larger 3.8 x 3.8 mm sensing element for increased responsivity. Both models include an internal thermistor for temperature reference and thermopile temperature compensation. All SMD parts are supplied in tape and reel for automated SMT assembly.

General Information
Excelitas manufactures these thermopile detectors in small, industry-standard SMD housings compatible with high-volume surface-mount processes. The SMD versions incorporate the patented ISOthermal design to improve stability and reliability under thermal shock, enabling compact integration and cost-effective production for industrial temperature-sensing applications.
