The Excelitas TPiS 1T 1386 L5.5 H is a thermopile sensor with integrated signal processing designed for medical-grade temperature measurement. As part of the CaliPile® series, it includes factory calibration data stored in on-board EEPROM. Housed in an isothermal TO-39 package with a confined 5° field of view, the device adapts rapidly to ambient temperature changes.

The TPiS 1T 1386 L5.5 H includes a lens hood to reduce stray light and stabilize thermal response in harsh conditions, enabling accurate measurements without re-calibration after integration. With a high-sensitivity thermopile detector and intelligent data processing, the sensor supports remote object temperature measurement and more. Configured via the I²C interface, it offers a hardware-configurable address and an interrupt output to monitor fast temperature changes and over-temperature events.
