Product overviewThe Tortef TW is an internal, double-acting sealing element consisting of a PTFE sealing ring and an elastomer O-ring as preload. It is designed for swiveling movements under high pressures and for relatively slow rotating movements. Typical applications include tooling machines, swivel motors, axes and shafts subjected to combined rotating and swiveling motions. The PTFE compound can be filled with bronze or carbon graphite to improve compressive strength. O-rings are available in various materials.
