Product descriptionThe Radial Oil Seal Type RE is a standard rotary shaft seal according to DIN 3760 design type BS. It features a metal outer diameter to ensure an increased press fit in the bore. It can be used for low-viscosity media and gas applications if the mating surface is machined appropriately. The sealing lip includes an inserted tension spring and an additional dust lip for applications with high external dust load. It is particularly suitable for rotating shafts in housings with no or minimal pressure fluctuations. Standard elastomer materials are NBR and FKM; other materials available on request.
