ULMAN T4905ULMAN T4905 - The base material of this packing, aramid staple fibre, is a synthetic fibre with very high strength. The fibre structure, combined with a high degree of impregnation with PTFE dispersion, makes the packing particularly suitable for abrasive environments. Although the packing absorbs abrasive particles, they cannot damage its structure or impair its performance. It also provides high resistance to cutting and wear.
ApplicationULMAN T4905 is used for sealing pumps, mixers, valves, sliders and refiners. It exhibits minimal wear even under very high pressure and covers a wide range of applications. The packing is suitable for sealing in numerous chemically aggressive media as well as in water and steam up to 280 °C. Typical sectors include chemical, pharmaceutical, oil refining and food industries, chemical departments of power plants, and metallurgy. It is also frequently used for sealing pumps handling wastewater containing abrasive particles.
