Product descriptionThe Radial Oil Seal Type RC is a rotary shaft seal manufactured to DIN 3760, design C. It features a metal outer diameter with an additional metal insert to improve press fit in bores under rough mounting or operating conditions. The sealing lip is supported by an inserted tension spring. The design permits use with low-viscosity media and gas applications provided the mating sealing surface is machined accordingly. It is intended for rotating shafts in housings with no pressure or only minimal pressure fluctuations. Standard elastomer materials are NBR and FKM; other compounds available on request.
