Product descriptionThe Radial Oil Seal Type RF is a rotary shaft seal manufactured to DIN 3760 (design type CS). It has a metal outer diameter with an additional metal insert to ensure an increased press fit in bores under rough conditions. The sealing element is an elastomer lip with an inserted tension spring and an additional dust lip for applications with high external dust content. The seal is suitable for unpressurized rotary applications and for low-viscosity media or gases when compatible surface treatments are applied.
Fields of application- static
- dynamic
- single-acting
- double-acting
- linear motion
- rotating shafts
- oscillating shafts
Main useUnpressurized sealing for rotating shafts in housings with minimal pressure fluctuations.
