Description
The Tortef TK is an external, double-acting rotary sealing element composed of a PTFE sealing ring combined with an elastomer O-ring as a preload element. It is designed for swiveling and relatively slow rotational movements under high pressure.

Applications
Particularly suited for tooling machines, swivel motors, axes and shafts with combined rotating and swiveling movements. PTFE compounds are available filled with bronze or carbon graphite to improve compressive strength. Other PTFE compounds and O‑ring materials available on request.

Main use
External rotary sealing for rotary transmissions and swivel joints operating at high system pressures.
