Product overview- ULMAN T4337 is a high-performance gland packing manufactured from expanded PTFE yarn with a high content of permanently embedded graphite, ensuring clean handling.
- The PTFE/graphite structure provides high thermal conductivity to dissipate frictional heat from high-speed pump shafts and helps prevent glazing of running surfaces.
- High flexibility reduces shaft and spindle wear; the packing remains dimensionally stable with minimal shrinkage and retains volume under varying operating conditions. Excellent self-lubricating properties lower energy consumption and wear.
Application- Suitable across multiple industries and particularly effective in dynamic applications such as pumps, mixers, valves and slide gates.
- Resistant to a wide range of aggressive media including strong acids and alkalis, solvents, gases and ammonia, oils, greases, hot and cold water, condensate and steam (resistant to steam up to approx. +280 °C).
- Well suited to chemical and pharmaceutical industries, power plants, refineries and the food industry. Demonstrates particular strengths in high-speed pumps and gas industry applications.
