Product descriptionThe V-ring VE is an axial, single-acting seal designed for non-pressurized shaft and bearing sealing. Unlike radial oil shaft seals, the V-ring seals against the front surface perpendicular to the shaft. The reinforced gasket body of the V-ring VE ensures a tighter fit on the shaft and improved mechanical stability.

Main useAnti-contaminant shaft outlet seals with improved axial fixation to protect bearings and shaft assemblies in non-pressurized environments.
MaterialsElastomers (standard: NBR with ozone resistance; FKM). Other elastomers and compounds available on request.
Technical values- Variant NBR: Temperature range −30°C to +100°C (material dependent); speed up to 8 m/s; up to 12 m/s with axial fixation; pressure: not applicable (for non-pressurized applications).
- Variant FKM: Temperature range −20°C to +200°C (material dependent); speed up to 8 m/s; up to 12 m/s with axial fixation; pressure: not applicable (for non-pressurized applications).
Important noteMaximum values for temperature, speed and pressure are not simultaneously applicable and depend on material, installation and the media in contact with the seal.
