Product overviewULMAN T4441 is manufactured from acrylic yarn impregnated and sealed with PTFE and a special lubricant. This combination provides balanced chemical resistance, dimensional stability and favorable sliding properties across a wide range of media. Compared with natural-fibre packings (hemp, cotton, flax), ULMAN T4441 offers improved thermal resistance and extended service life.
ApplicationT4441 is a versatile gland packing particularly effective in pumps under steady pressure. Its flexible structure compensates for slight radial shaft deflections to ensure consistent sealing. Typical applications include chemical, pharmaceutical and food industries as well as general process engineering; suitable for sealing water, steam (application guidance up to approx. +200 °C) and numerous chemical media.
