Electrical instrument to assess yarn imperfections such as hairiness, neps, regularity and general appearance. Versions available with or without CE safety cover. Planofil Two model allows simultaneous winding of two yarns of the same count on the same board for direct visual comparison and approximately 50% time saving during board preparation. Electronic speed adjustment is provided. Two blackboards are supplied as standard. For very coarse or bulky woollen and blended yarns, an accessory (Code 2520.290) with special pulleys for wider coil separation is available.
