Description

Overview
Two-column universal electronic strength tester based on the CRE (Constant Rate of Extension) principle. Designed to meet testing requirements of universities, research institutes and industrial laboratories for technical textiles, geotextiles, non-wovens and other industrial fabrics.

Main features
  • Maximum capacity: 5000 kg (50 kN) — Code 2515; 1000 kg (10 kN) — Code 2516.
  • Suitable for tensile, compression, tearing, delamination, adhesion and seam slippage tests and for hysteresis cycles.
  • Twin ball bearing screws and reinforced guide columns ensure smooth crosshead movement and prevent frame deformation.
  • Speed range: 0.5–500 mm/min.
  • Maximum crosshead travel: 1200 mm (without clamps).
  • Inner distance between columns: 400 mm.
  • Compatible with a wide range of interchangeable load cells and mechanical or pneumatic clamps.
  • PC-controlled software for test control and data acquisition.
  • Optional Mechanical Extension Device for accurate elongation measurement on very rigid, low-elongation samples.

Compliance with testing methods
  • Meets international standards: ISO, UNI, UNI EN, UNI EN ISO, ASTM, M&S, NEXT, JIS, etc.
  • Officially approved by Marks & Spencer.
  • ISO 17025 calibration certificate (Accredia - ILAC) available on request.

Available clamps and kits (examples shown on page)
  • Pneumatic clamps for delicate yarns (POY, Lycra, cotton, worsted) — 20 N max — Code 2510.978.
  • Pneumatic clamps for standard yarns and sewing threads — 50 N max — Code 2510.982.
  • Mechanical clamps for normal yarns — 30 N — Code 2512E.994.
  • Clamps for high-tenacity yarns with conical introducer — Code 2510.980.
  • Mechanical clamps for high-tenacity yarns, Scott 300 — Code 2510.996.
  • LEA clamps for hanks — Code 2512E.990.
  • Self-tightening high-tenacity clamps for ribbons (100 mm wide) — Code 2512E.920.
  • Self-tightening high-tenacity clamps for ropes — Code 2515.988.
  • Pneumatic maxi clamps with rubber jaws for heavy/high-tenacity fabrics (100 mm) — Code 2510.130.
  • Mechanical clamps with rubber jaws (100 mm) — Code 2510.846.
  • Mechanical clamps for non-wovens and geotextiles (EN ISO 10319), 200 mm width, rubber jaws — Code 2515.142.
  • Adhesion peel bond kit (roller type, UNI EN ISO 11644; IUF 470; UNI EN 388 Annex C, 2017) — available on demand.
  • CBR perforation testing kit for non-wovens (EN ISO 12236, UNI 8279-14) — Code 2510.690.
