Overview
NATI Advanced is a transportable optoelectronic instrument for automatic measurement and classification of Neps, Seed Coat Neps, Trash and Dust in large-size sliver samples (samples up to 6 m; approximately 30 g depending on sliver count). It is suitable for cotton, synthetic and blended slivers as well as raw cotton material and is designed for fast in-plant quality checks and process control.

• Neps / Seed Coat Neps: >0.5 mm ; >0.7 mm ; >1.0 mm
• Trash / Dust: >0.15 mm ; >0.25 mm ; >0.50 mm

Performance
The system uses an optoelectronic detection method to automatically detect and classify Neps, Seed Coat Neps, Trash and Dust. Analysis is rapid: typically less than 2 minutes to test 2 g of sliver, enabling daily control of carding departments and improved scheduling of maintenance.

Integration
NATI Advanced can be linked to CONTEST-F2 to complete raw cotton profiling. When connected, both units share the same graphical user interface and consolidated printout for unified fiber testing data.
