Product description
Pneumatic bursting strength tester to determine the bursting resistance and the dynamic fatigue of woven and knitted fabrics as well as technical textiles, non-wovens, leather (artificial and natural), and other non-textile applications such as paper, plastic, packaging and medical applications.

Main features

• New version equipped with a wide capacitive colour touch screen for improved visualization of testing parameters, statistical results and graphs showing dynamic specimen behaviour during bursting or cycle testing.
• Measures pressure required to burst a specimen, specimen extension prior to bursting, and release-and-extension cycle behaviour. Tests can follow standards included in the software or use customised parameters.
• Performs hysteresis (fatigue) cycles to analyse specimen behaviour under cyclic extension and relaxation.
• All settings are fully programmable.
• No PC required.
• Test parameters, statistical results and graphs are stored in the internal Burstmatic 2 database and are easily downloadable.
• Sample distension height measured by laser technology for high repeatability.
