Platinum sensors
Platinum RTD elements (Pt) provide a defined resistance-temperature relationship. The FlipChip Pt1000 is specified for a wide temperature range and is manufactured to IEC 60751 tolerances. Variants in the platinum sensor family cover extended ranges (-200 °C to +1000 °C) and different accuracy classes on request.

SMD and FlipChip

• SMD: wireless SMD RTD versions are intended for automatic PCB assembly with wrap-around or surface contacts; available contact finishes include SAC305, high-temperature solder and Ni/Au.
• FlipChip: single-sided contact FlipChip design prevents backside shorting and supports assembly by reflow soldering, bonding or welding.

Small dimensions
0603 FlipChip format and dedicated miniaturized variants enable integration in space-constrained applications while maintaining fast response and low self-heating characteristics.
